Keith Mark Stankevitz

Keith Mark Stankevitz, 59, was born June 6, 1963 to Terence and Sarah Imogene “Jean” Stankevitz in Fukyoku, Japan. He took his servant heart home March 11, 2023 after a graceful endurance of a diagnosis of Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (PSP). He was at home surrounded by his family and friends at the time of his death.

Keith leaves to miss him until reunited, his wife of 36 years, Deena Linsley Stankevitz; father, Terence Stankevitz; brother, Tim Stankevitz; sister-in-law and house buddy, Janice Linsley Byers. He also leaves behind a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Pat and Wanda Linsley; numerous nieces, nephews, greats and great-greats, and a much loved Oakley aunt, uncle and cousins.

Keith started his career at Sears in college. He moved on to banking in the eighties when they began deregulating, so he worked for almost all of the local banks in Little Rock before he came to work at UAMS with his wife. Due to his illness, he retired from UAMS surgical services after 20 years of service.

Keith was a longtime member and front row pew occupier of The Church at Rock Creek. If you prefer to donate over giving flowers, please do so to the church’s building fund or Feed AR Kids in his memory.

A visitation will be held from 5:00 - 7:30 pm on Friday, March 17, 2023 at Smith Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct, Little Rock, AR. A funeral service will be held at 9:30 am on Saturday, March 18, 2023 at Smith Little Rock Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Forest Hills Cemetery, 10200 AR-5, Alexander, AR.
