Keith Carlton Nystuen, 80, of Sherwood died Friday, September 17, 2010. He was born October 16, 1929 in Northfield, Minnesota to Arthur and Senora Engeseth Nystuen. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in North Little Rock, the St. Mary's Men Club, Knights of Columbus in North Little Rock and a member of VFW Post 4393 in Northfield, Minnesota. He was a maintenance planner with Phillips Electronics of California where he retired. He was a Korean veteran in the U.S. Marine Corp.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Larry Moser; brother, Gary Nystuen and sister, LaVann Phelps. He is survived by his wife, Patricia (Robinson) Nystuen, of Sherwood; daughter, Catherine Ramer and husband, Paul, of Modesto, California; brothers, Dale Nystuen, of Sun City, California, Greg Nystuen, of Kimball, Minnesota and John Nystuen, of Punta Gorda, Florida; grandchildren, Eddie Gonzalez, AnnMarie Ramer and Tori Ramer, of Modesto, California; and three nephews, Mike Phelps, Kevin (Marylin) Phelps and Bruce (Lori) Phelps, all of Northfield, Minnesota and two nieces, Retired Commander Lisa Ottenbacher, of Silverdale, Washington and Jenna Phelps, of Northfield, Minnesota.
Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:00 a.m., Wednesday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Burial will be in Rest Hills Memorial Park. A rosary service will be held 6:00 p.m., Tuesday at North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main St., 758-1170. Online obituary and guest registry at www.nlrfh.com.
