Keith Fisher

Keith William Fisher, 63, of Texarkana had his peace come upon him on July 15, 2016 in his
home in Texarkana, Arkansas. Keith was born March 1, 1953 to the late William B. and Evelyn (Lassig) Fisher at Clark Air Force Base in the Philippines. It was just one of many bases across the world and the United States that would be a temporary home

Keith's prayer each moment was to find peace. His prayer at last was granted. Not here in this place, but within the arms of the Lord...and peace has come upon him...that is the blessing.

Music - singing, playing and performing were his gifts. People who knew and loved him
understood. He gave his gifts to others for their peace and even for their hope. He sang and
played like an angel, but had no wings about him. God knew it was time to bring him home.

Keith was preceded in death by his father, Willard B. Fisher, Sr. and his mother Evelyn L. Fisher. His father was a career military officer who saw combat and prison in World War II and his
mother was a World War II Czech refugee.

Keith is survived by his two children who he loved very much, Ben Fisher and his fiancée, Emily and Leah Fisher, both of Little Rock, Arkansas. He has one brother and four sisters - Will Fisher and his wife, Debbie of Little Rock; Madelyn Lybarger and her husband, Mike of Bend, Oregon; Pam Carter and her husband, Jeff of Bristol, Vermont; Lisa Belt of Bend, Oregon; and Heidi Dozier and her husband, Jeff of Belleville, Illinois. Gerda Fisher of Bend, Oregon has been his caring mother during his journey more than 40 years. There are also many nieces, nephews, and special friends who will remember and never forget him, such as Anne Knight Saqer of Texarkana, Arkansas.

The storms we saw around him, typhoons that could drown him, the gestures we chose to soothe him were not enough to save him. God knew and kept His own time, not known even to Keith. A light shown in the darkness and Keith finally found the way.
