Kaylee Tenille Simpson

Our precious miracle, Kaylee Tenille Simpson, 27, gained her angel wings on November 13, 2023.

 

She was born on November 27, 1995, the daughter of Melissa Davis. She is preceded in death by her beloved maternal Papa and Nana, Ronnie and Sharon Dycus and her bonus Papa and Grandma Alfred and Colleen Davis. 

 

Kaylee was the center of her mom's world. She also had the best little brother to help take care of her. With her mom's loving and unwavering support, Kaylee was able to have a wonderful quality of life at home with her family. Kaylee has left a huge void in their hearts and they will miss her always and forever.

 

Kaylee attended the Glenwood First Step Adult program where she had many friends. She was a true fighter, defying all odds with her spirit and determination.  Kaylee's strong will and stubborn personality helped her to overcome many challenges in her lifetime. She brought immense joy and love into the lives of all who knew her. Her presence was truly a gift and she touched the hearts of everyone she encountered with her sweet nature. Let us remember her for the joy she brought into our lives and her unwavering strength. 

 

She is survived by her loving mother, Melissa Davis of Glenwood, her two brothers, Colton Davis of Glenwood and Devin Simpson of Pearcy, her uncle and aunt, Chet and Desty Dycus of Bryant, her aunt and uncle, Sherrie and Justin Mitchell of Bauxite, her four cousins Morgan, Kyndall, Lauren Grace, and Noah, her many extended family members, friends, multiple caregivers, and her wonderful prayer warriors from all over the world.   

 

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, November 17, 2023, in the Smith Family Funeral Home Chapel, Glenwood with Bro. Todd McCauley and Bro. Tony Hill officiating.

 

Visitation will be held Thursday, November 16, 2023 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM in the Smith Family Funeral Home Chapel, Glenwood.

 

Interment will be in the Black Springs Cemetery.

 

Pallbearers will be Colton Davis, Chet Dycus, Morgan Stringer, Justin Mitchell, Jason Fox, and Michael Duggan.

 

Arrangements are under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Home, Glenwood, 209 North Third Street, Glenwood, AR 71943.
