Kayla Renee Blacksher

     Kayla Renee Blacksher, 34, of Conway, Arkansas passed away Friday August 9th, 2024. She was born December 7th, 1989, in Lafayette, Louisiana. Kayla lived most of her life in Mountain Home, Arkansas before attending college in Little Rock, at UALR, where she eventually began her career and family. Kayla was a kind and loving person, with her family, as a friend, and as a mother. She was passionate about helping those in need and always rooted for the underdog. She enjoyed reading and listening to music in her free time. Kayla also enjoyed chatting and spending time with close friends as well. Alongside hobbies, she adored spending every moment with her beloved son, Camden. Kayla and her son Camden enjoyed baseball together, among other sports. She had a burning desire to be a mother and Camden completed her.

     Kayla is survived by her son, Camden Wright, adoptive mother and father, Sharon and Glenn Blacksher; mother Rebecca Carlton Causer; five brothers, Bryan Carlton, Glenn Blacksher II, Ryan Fields, Dillon Fields, Dustin Decker; one sister Destiny Barnes; aunt Leslie Loucks and husband Tom; Uncle Kevin Carlton, and cousin, Meagan Loucks. Kayla left behind many other friends and family which she loved so much.

      Kayla is proceeded in death by her grandmother, Margaret Carlton; Grandfather, Ray Carlton; Cousin, Lori Comeaux; sister, Stacy Blacksher.

      A visitation allowing us to remember Kayla will be held on September 7th, 11:00 AM, at Smith Family Funeral Home-Conway (1751 Dave Ward Drive, Conway, AR).
