Kay (Katharina) Swindling, age 85 passed away Friday, Aug. 11, 2006 at the Twin Rivers Health
and Rehab Center in Arkadelphia.
She was born July 19, 1921 in Gladstone, ND to John and Minnie Gillenberg Wenzel. She married Raymond Swindling in 1941 and relocated to California during WWII, working for Cutter's Laboratories and Beckman Instrument Co. After retirement, Mrs. Swindling moved to Sparkman, AR in 1989 to live closer to her daughter.
Survivors include her daughter, Joyce Vargas of Sparkman; two brothers, Kenneth Wenzel of Carrollton, TX and Donald Wenzel of San Leandro, CA; three grandchildren, Mark Hoyt of Mesquite, TX, Donna Jackson and Jason McCready both of Sparkman;; four great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be 2:00 PM Saturday, August 19, 2006 in Ruggles-Wilcox Chapel.
