Katrina Buxbaum
Katrina Buxbaum, 91, of Little Rock, and formerly of Coral Gables, Florida, passed away September 9, 2011. She is survived by sons, Chris Buxbaum, Dane Buxbaum (Marcia) and granddaughter Samantha of Little Rock, and cherished family in Germany: sister, Charlotte Lierberwirth, Professor Dr. Rolf Lieberwirth, Dr.s' Micheal and Franziska Hofmann, Gastiene Kuntze, and children Christopher and Ulrike.
A pillar of strength, her kind and generous spirit was bestowed upon her family and all who knew her. Mimi, Mayma, Katja... There are many voids that will never be filled, but we take comfort in knowing that you will live on in our memories forever. We miss you terribly.
"The sun goes down but gently warms still fingers on the land; the tide recedes but leaves behind bright seashells on the sand; the music stops and yet it echoes on in sweet refrains; for everything that passes, something beautiful remains." A passage once dedicated to her parents.
Services will be held at Arlington National Cemetery in Virginia.
