Kathy Kelly Jester

Kathy Kelly Jester, age 67, of Glenwood, passed away on Friday, November 25, 2016. She was born on February 5, 1949 in Kaufman, Texas, the daughter of James Russell Kelly and Avis Lorene Turner Kelly. On August 7, 1970, she was married to Rodger Jester who preceded her in death on July 27, 1990. Kathy was a member and past worthy matron of the Order of the Easter Star, Glenwood Chapter #396. She enjoyed traveling and taking care of her garden. She always loved being with her grandchildren. She is survived by her companion, R. D. Hale; two daughters, Laura Wolf and her husband, Jason, and Kristie Jester; her mother-in-law, Betty Jester, all of Glenwood; ten grandchildren; two brothers, Ken Kelly of Kaufman, Texas and James "Bubba" Kelly of Rudy, Arkansas; her sister, Ruth Ann Fortner of Kaufman, Texas; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, November 29, 2016, in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel, Glenwood. Visitation will be Monday, 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, at the funeral home.
