Kathy Goodwin

               Kathy Goodwin, age 74, of Antoine passed away Saturday, May 4, 2024.  She was born August 12, 1949 in Albuquerque, New Mexico to the late Delmer H.T. and Pauline (Torres) Bruce.  Kathy loved traveling with her family, shopping, and baking; however, she did not enjoy cooking.  She was a member of Crossroads Assembly of God Church near Delight.  She absolutely adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren who will miss their arguments with their “Granny”.  In addition to her parents, Kathy was preceded in death by her husband, Ron Goodwin; grandson, Taylor Pate; brothers, Kenneth Bruce and Floyd Bruce; and daughter, Carrie Argo who shortly chased her to Heaven.

              Left to cherish her memory are her son, Lee (Amanda) Goodwin of Delight; daughter, Julie (Chris) Pate of Delight; grandchildren, Ann, Katie, Robby, and Dakota; and thirteen great-grandchildren; siblings, James Bruce, Sharon Berry, and Linda Elders, all of Rogers; and numerous nieces and nephews.

              Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 p.m., Thursday, May 9 at Ruggles-Wilcox Chapel in Arkadelphia.  Funeral services are 2:00 p.m., Friday, May 10 at Crossroads Assembly of God Church near Delight with Brother Vincent Henry officiating.   Services will conclude at the church.
