Kathy Elder
Kathy Lynn Elder was born on October 11, 1958 in Selma, CA and departed this life on June 1, 2020 in Little Rock, AR. She was 61 years old.
Kathy attended schools in California, Missouri, and graduated from Mountain Home High School in 1977. She moved to Little Rock, AR in 1985, where she met her husband, Carroll Elder. She loved working with Carroll at Good Old Days Foods, Inc. where she met and befriended many employees, brokers, clients, and associates. Kathy had a kind, giving heart and never met a stranger.
Kathy loved spending weekends at Greer's Ferry Lake, reading, crossword puzzles, movies, and she enjoyed gardening and plants of all kinds.
Kathy is survived by her husband, Carroll Elder; sons, Charles Myers of Chiefland, FL, and Jeffrey Myers of West Plains, MO; sisters, Jo Smith (Hobie) of Rickman, TN, and Paula Hall of Aspen, CO.
She is also survived by step-children: Karen Bonner (Mark) of Fayetteville; Chris Elder (Brenda) of Springdale; Kathy Goins (Roger) of Van Buren ; Kim Gammill (Dan) of Little Rock; and Keri Mahan (Brook) of Mountain Home. Kathy was a loving Nana to many grandchildren and a wonderful "Auntie" to her niece and nephew.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Dale E. Johnson of West Plains, MO, and Joy B. Nesbitt of Mountain Home, AR.
Memorial service will be announced at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Shriner's Children's Hospital or your favorite charity.
