Kathryn Hunt Landers

Our precious mother, Kathryn Hunt Landers, passed away April 12, 2023 with her daughters by her side. She was born in Judsonia, AR May 24, 1934 to the late Arthur and Mollie J Hunt.

Kathryn grew up in NLR and married her high school sweetheart the late Tom Landers. Together they raised three children, Tommy, Deana, and Carol Ann. She lost Tommy at the age of 19 and her heart was broken.  She was the best mother to her girls and was there for every event in their lives. Her greatest gifts were her grandsons, John and Scotty. She spent many hours fishing, ball games and just hanging out with her favorite boys. She was blessed again when she gained a granddaughter in love, Krystal. In her eyes, her greats were perfect in every way.

Kathryn was a homemaker where she took pride in caring for her family. She loved Jesus, bird watching, water aerobics, gardening, and cookbooks. She loved going on adventures with her girls and family.

Kathryn was preceded in death by her parents: her husband, Thomas Landers; her son, Tommy Landers; her son in law, Bill Lea; sisters, Glenna Flack, June Foiles and Sherry Hickey. She is survived by daughters, Deana Landers Lea and Carol Ann Agee; grandkids, John Lea, Scotty and Krystal Agee; greats, Brenton, Ella, Bryson and Brogan Agee: sister, Deloris Foiles; brother in law, Dr. Tom Hickey, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be Tuesday, April 18 at 1:00 pm at Smith North Little Rock Funeral Home with Brother Paul Holderfield officiating. The visitation will be held one hour prior to service. Followed by burial at Pinecrest Memorial Park.
