Kathryn Ann Hoover

Kathryn Hoover, 87, of North Little Rock, Arkansas passed away August 28, 2022. She was born November 20, 1934 in Fordyce, Arkansas to the late Calvin Hammond and Helen (Parham) Hammond. 

Kathryn’s claim to fame was her made from scratch German chocolate cake and Thanksgiving dressing.  Her favorite pastime was taking care of her yard and flower beds. There were many times strangers would knock on her door just to let her know how beautiful her yard was. 

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Earl D. Hoover; first husband, Travis Doyle Crumpler; son, Timothy Michael Crumpler, brother, Don Hammond, and sister, Virginia Hammond.

Kathryn is survived by her daughter, Debbie Ramsey (Paul) of Sherwood; seven of her eight grandchildren Travis Ramsey, David Ramsey, Susan Spencer-Cox, Brandy Edmondson, Crystal Hinton, Jennifer Hoss, and Debbie Martinez, 17 great grand-children, 2 great- great-grandchildren and one on the way and a host of family and friends.

Visitation will be from 6:00PM-8:00PM Thursday, September 1, 2022 at Smith-North Little Rock Funeral Home (1921 Main Street). Funeral service will be at 11:30 AM Friday, September 2, 2022 at the funeral home with burial following at Pinecrest Memorial Park.
