Katie was an inspiration to her family and friends. After being diagnosed with cancer in 1986, she demonstrated her good fight of faith. She was a perfect example of courage. She lived each day with a superb attitude, never complaining and always encouraging others to see the positives in life. Katie's sense of humor radiated in her words, her eyes and her contagious smile and laughter. She was compassionate, caring, full of love and grace and shared it freely with anyone who came near her. She will be missed endlessly but the gift of her spirit and example will live on in those who were lucky to have known her.
Katie was a devout Christian and attended Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
Vigil Service will be 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 21, 2007 at North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main, 758-1170.
