Kathleen Buchanan Ezell, 97, of Springdale, died Saturday, September 25, 2010 at Washington Regional Hospital in Fayetteville. Born December 30, 1912 in Hoxie to Joe D. and Dona Doyle Buchanan, she was a graduate of St. Vincent's School of Nursing and a member of Central United Methodist Church in Fayetteville. She enjoyed growing flowers and gardening, and was accomplished in all forms of needlework.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ivy R. Ezell and a brother, Clay Buchanan. She is survived by her son, Richard I. Ezell and his wife, Suzanne of Fayetteville; a grandson, Richard Ezell, Jr. and his wife, Julie, of Tontitown; granddaughters, Robin Forbis and her husband, Greg and Stephanie McCall and her husband, Scott, all of Rogers; and great-grandchildren, Ali, Matthew and Daniel Ezell, Carter and Katelyn Forbis, and Kayla, Kendal and Cooper McCall.
Graveside services will be held on Friday, October 1 at 1:30 p.m. at Rest Hills Memorial Park in Sherwood. Memorials may be made to Central United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 1106, Fayetteville, AR 72702.
