Katherine Sue Burnett Tiner

Katherine Sue Burnett-Tiner (79), went to be with our Lord and Savior on December 22, 2023 at 9:45pm. She was born September 30, 1944 to Mose Ashcraft and Sally Baker Ashcraft Cates of Sheridan, Arkansas. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and wife. Was married to George Tiner for the last five years and lived in Haskell, Arkansas.

Before that she was married to John A. Burnett, Sr. for 53 years. They both worked together at Shepherds Blueprint and Capitol Blueprint in Little Rock, Arkansas until they retired. They owned JC's Dairy Bar in Ferndale, Arkansas (1990 - 2003). Sue was a member of New Life Baptist Church in Alexander, Arkansas where she enjoyed working in the kitchen and was over the hospitality committee until 2020.

Preceded in death by her parents, 3 sisters: Jimmie Burnett, Mary Moore, Mozella Ashcraft, 2 brothers: Richard Ashcraft and Bobby Ashcraft, husband: John ABurnett, Sr. and daughter Wanda Burnett.

She is survived by her husband: George (Carl) Tiner of Haskell, son: John A. Burnett, Jr. of Paron, 2 daughters: Johnnie Sue (Kevin) Wynn of Bryant and Tammy Love of Benton. Grandchildren: Jason Wynn of Bryant, Carlton (Makenzie) Burnett of Little Rock, Katherine (Brian) Capuson-Smith of Bryant, Craig Wynn of Little Rock, Logan (Jessica) Thomas of Heber Springs, Kenneth Andrews and Hunter Andrews of Benton. Great- Grandchildren; Alexandra Burnett, Elijah Burnett, Jessica Capuson, Jasper Wynn, and Levon Wynn; 2brothers: Gary "Roger" Ashcraft and Mike (Karen) Ashcraft, 2 sisters: Bonnie Crutchfield and Judy (Ronald) Henderson. Her loving four-legged companion of 12 years Sally. Many nieces/nephews, extended family and loving friends.

Services are as follows: Visitation Friday, December 29, 2023 from 5:00 pm till 7:00 pm and Service Saturday, December 30, 2023 at 11:00 am at Smith Family Funeral Home in Little Rock, Arkansas.
