Katelin Michelle Penix, age 13, of Glenwood, passed away on Friday, November 25, 2016. She was born on March 12, 2003 in Little Rock. Katelin attended 8th grade at Centerpoint Middle School. She was active in Choir and enjoyed life. We will miss her dearly. Goodbye, baby girl! She is survived by parents Sgt. Ira J. Penix(Ret.) and Katherine P. Penix; her siblings, Macie Kay Penix(15), Samuel Monroe Penix(13) and Jacob Edison Penix(12), all of Glenwood; her paternal grandmother Darlene Penix Agee of Carlisle; her maternal grandparents, Joel & Sharron Pickett of Kentucky; and her Uncle J. Stewart Pickett of Utah. Memorial services will be held at 5:00 PM, Friday, December 2, 2016, in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel, Glenwood. Guest registry is at www.davis-smith.com.
