Karyn Sue Jackson

Karyn Sue Jackson, 75, of Alexander, Arkansas passed away November 13, 2022.  She was born on January 7, 1947 in Dearborn, Michigan to the late Hyman and Faye Grady Jackson.

Karyn worked in social services for over thirty years.  She was an avid American and English history researcher.  She was the administrator of at least ten history groups on Facebook.  Children were special to Karyn and they affectionately called her "KK".  She was incredibly generous and never hesitated to help others, including rescuing animals (most recently 4 cats and a dog).  Some of her favorite things included Beatles music,  watching Outlander and reading the book, and watching the Downton Abbey series.  Karyn found friendship valuable and kept in touch with many of her childhood friends.  Karyn loved to travel.  She was priviledged to have visited all 50 states!  Her favorite destinations included Sedona, Arizona and the Grand Canyon.

Karyn leaves behind to cherish her memory her son, David Snyder and his wife Cimone of Alexander, Arkansas; partner of twenty-seven years, Scott Richardson of Alexander, Arkansas; brother, Phillip Jackson of California; cousin, David Ferguson of Bryant, Arkansas; and many family members and friends who love Karyn and will miss her always.

Visitation will be held from 10:00-11:00 AM followed by memorial service at 11:00 AM, Friday, November 18, at Smith-Benton Funeral Home, 322 N. Market Street, Benton, Arkansas.
