Karl Leslie

Karl Leslie, 86, of Paron, Arkansas passed away February 12, 2022.  He was born June 22, 1935 in Little Rock, Arkansas to the late Virtus and Clara (Shackleford) Leslie.

Karl was a hardworking man and could always be found on his new tractor.  He enjoyed spending time outdoors, camping, fishing, and hunting.  He was a talented slow pitch ball player in his younger years, and volunteered as an umpire when his children played ball.  Karl was a school bus driver when he was a senior in high school and brightened the student’s day.

Preceding Karl in death are his son, James Michael Leslie; and his parents.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife of sixty-five years, Frances Leslie; sons:  Terry Leslie and wife Teresa and Gary Leslie and wife Tina; grandchildren:  Terry Jr., Leah, and Luke; six great-grandchildren; and many family members and friends who love Karl and will miss him always.

Visitation held from 12:00-1:00 PM, Thursday, February 18, with funeral service, officiated by Pastor Chris Kinzler, following at 1:00 PM, at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, 27025 Kanis Rd #9599, Little Rock, Arkansas.  Burial will follow at Spring Valley Cemetery.
