Karis Willis

Karis Nicole Willis, 30, got her wings and is in Heaven with her Granny, Pawpaw, and others that went to Heaven before her on December 2, 2020.  She was born July 10, 1990 in Little Rock, Arkansas to Douglas, Jr.  and Crystal (Thomason) Arnesen.

Preceding Karis in death are her great-grandparents:  Benjamin “Doc” and Bertha Thomason; grandmother, Tina Reynolds; and father-in-law, Jackie Willis.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her fiancé, Paul Martinez of Benton, Arkansas; daughter, Callie Willis and her dad, Shawn Willis of Bauxite, Arkansas; parents:  Douglas, Jr.  and Crystal Arnesen of Benton, Arkansas; brother, Fisher Arnesen and companion Cassie Dixon of Traskwood, Arkansas; sisters:  Erin “Bree” Arnesen of Haskell, Arkansas, Joci Arnesen of Haskell, Arkansas, Kirstie Hudson and husband Andrew of Benton, Arkansas, Zoe Gibson of Benton, Arkansas; grandfather, Randall “Everett” Thomason (who she affectionately called Papaw), aunt, Rochell Weaver; two great aunts:  Donna Thomason and husband Lonnie and Linda Browning and husband Tom; great uncle, Benny Thomason; mother-in-law  Suzi Willis; brother-in-law, Zach Willis; grandmother-in-law, Nanny Bobbie; close cousin, Teresa Adams; nieces, Kenley Arnesen and Parker Arnesen; step-daughters:  Alyvia, Kalyse, and Yesenia Martinez; and many family members and friends who love Karis and will miss her always.

Celebration of Life service will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, December 18, at Smith-Benton Funeral Home, 322 N. Market Street, Benton, Arkansas 72015.  State of AR COVID-19 Directives followed including masks are required (not provided) and social distancing will be maintained.
