Karen Sue Constable Smith, 66, was born December 23, 1949 in Rogersville, MO to the late Fern and Roger Constable. She went to be with her Lord on December 17, 2016 at CHI St. Vincent Hospital, Hot Springs, AR after a long illness.
Karen was married to Dewayne "Bucky" Smith for nearly 50 years. They lived in the Rogersville/Springfield area until 2014 when they moved to Hot Springs, AR to be closer to their oldest daughter, Kim Smith-Gaither and family.
During her life she worked in the legal field at Springfield, MO Municipal Court, Greene County Court, and Cox Hospital.
Survivors include her loving husband Bucky; daughter, Kim Smith-Gaither of Little Rock, (AR); granddaughter, Kendra Mayo (Matt) of Bigelow, AR; grandson, Aaron Wildschuetz (Alyssa) of Little Rock, AR; Colton Gaither of Little Rock; daughter Kelly Weaver (Matt) of Ozark, MO; grandsons, Adam and Chris. Her twin sister's sons, who were like her own-Toby Major (Cindy and Curtis) and Tony Major both of Nixa, MO; brother Kenny Constable (Jeneve) of Marshfield, MO and their daughters; sister Kay Bruton (David) and their son; brother in law Nick Major; great-grandson, Mason Wildschuetz; and to be born in April 2017 great-granddaughter Harper Mayo; many family members and friends.
Preceded in death by her parents; twin sister, Kathy; grandparents Bob and Mary Gray; and Ross and Carrie Constable.
Karen was always thinking of others, and like her father, she never met a stranger. She touched many lives and will be missed by many.
Until we are united in heaven, I will miss you and love you. You took a big part of my heart when God took you home. Now you are with relatives and our loving dogs, Sammy and Max.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Arkansas Hospice, Hot Springs Inpatient Center located at CHI St. Vincent's Hospital, Hot Springs, Arkansas.
