Karen Denise Padgett

Karen Denise Padgett, 68, of Romance, Arkansas, passed away September 25, 2023.  She was born February 3, 1955, to Carthel and Billie Healy.

Karen retired from Wal-Mart after thirty years.  She was a member of the Northside Church of Christ, in Beebe.  She loved animals, working in her flower beds and decorating her home.  Karen was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.  Her great-grandchildren were the light of her life.  She enjoyed making the kids smile and laugh.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Carthel and Billie Healy; brother, Linn Healy; granddaughter, Hailey Carney; and nephews, Courtney and Ryan Sparrow.

Karen is survived by her husband of twenty-five years, Mark Padgett; daughters, Michelle Winston (Archie) of Hamburg and Tara Meredith (Toby) of Benton; Grandchildren, Skye (Stephen) Davidson of Bentonville, Kastellya (Quin) Ross of Austin, Tyler (McKenz) Day of Centerton, Kayla (Paul) Rowell of Searcy, Shanee (Justin) Lafferty of Wilmington, Delaware, Bradly (Jordan) Day of Hermitage, Kane (Cynthia) Chirnside, of Cabot, Megan (Logan) Mann, of Warren; great-grandchildren, Nicholas, Connor, Adalyn, Blaire, AnnaGrace, Hayden, Declan, Braxton, Easton, Axel, Oaklynn and Ellie; sisters, Becky Pittman of Centerton, Marsha Sparrow of Beebe, Pam (Ricky) White of Romance and Amber (Allen) Fike of Beebe; and many other loved ones.

A visitation will be held Friday evening, September 29^th from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Smith Westbrook Funeral Home, 404 W Dewitt Henry, Beebe, Arkansas.  Services are Saturday, September 30^th at 10:00 a.m. at Northside Church of Christ, Beebe.  Burial at Antioch Cemetery.
