Karen Henderson

Karen S. Henderson, 61, of Maumelle passed from this life on the afternoon of June 20, 2021 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born June 12, 1960 in Little Rock, Arkansas to Douglas and Wilma (Ouzts) Womack. Karen was a devoted member of Pinnacle Church of Christ. She enjoyed traveling, painting, camping, boating and reading, but was always happiest when surrounded by her friends and family, especially her grandchildren. Karen’s love for her family was truly that of a mother, true and unconditional in every way. Her kind and compassionate nature will be dearly missed and never matched. Mrs. Henderson was preceded in death by her father.

Left to cherish her memory are her mother, Wilma Womack of Maumelle; her loving and devoted husband and best friend of forty years, Kenny Henderson; children, Hollye (Michael) Jackson and Hannah Perez both of Maumelle; grandchildren, Liam and Lily Jackson. Other survivors include siblings, Pam (Tom) Stringfellow of Maumelle and Steve (Jane) Womack of Little Rock along with a host of other family and dearly loved friends.

Funeral services will be 10:00am, Thursday, June 24, 2021 at Smith North Little Rock Funeral home with Chuck Monan, minister of Pinnacle Church of Christ officiating. Interment will follow at Rest Hills Memorial Park. Visitation will be Wednesday, June 23, 2021 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Karen’s memory may be made to the Arkansas Ovarian Cancer Coalition or the UAMS Winthrop P. Rockefeller Cancer Institute at 449 Jack Stephens Dr, Little Rock, AR 72205.
