Karen Abigail Carias Alverto, affectionately known as Abigail, was born on March 21, 2010, in San Pedro Sula, Cortes, Honduras, and passed away on March 8, 2025, at Arkansas Children's Hospital. She was a beloved daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, cousin, and friend whose radiant spirit touched the lives of many.

Abigail attended Mills High School in Little Rock, Arkansas, where her joyful personality shined brightly. From a young age, she exhibited a passion for life and a love for activity; she loved to run, play soccer, and swim. Abigail derived immense joy from playing with other children and was known for her warm demeanor and the beautiful smile that she carried with her at all times.

Her strength was remarkable; despite facing various medical challenges, Abigail remained fearless and vivacious, always bringing happiness to those around her. She created friendships effortlessly and was treasured for her politeness and sunny disposition. Abigail's presence was a blessing, and her family and friends will remember her deeply.

Abigail is survived by her loving parents, Carlos Alfredo Carias Caballero and Karla Patricia Alverto Portillo; her cherished brother, Alex Alverto; her grandparents, Domitila Del Carmen Caballero Ramirez, Angel Francisco Carias Barrientos, and Maria Domitila Hernandez; her uncles, Angel Francisco Carias Caballero (Sherly) and Luis Mendoza; her aunt, Reyna Magdalena Caballero (Julio Ortiz); and her cousins, Keyli Mejia (Jeronimo Domiguez), Silvia Caballero, Jose Caballero, Alfredo Caballero, Yenny Ortega, Salema Caballero, along with many other family members and friends who love Abigail and will miss her always.

A visitation in honor of Abigail will be held on Friday, March 14, 2025, at Smith Family Funeral Home Benton, located at 322 N Market Street, Benton, Arkansas, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
