Justin Rainwater
Justin H. Rainwater, age 89 of Alexander, passed away October 20, 2014 at Bryant, Arkansas. He was born on November 30, 1924 in Jonesboro, Arkansas; he was the son of Juddie L. Rainwater and Otis Linden Rainwater.
Mr. Rainwater was a WWII Merchant Marine Veteran who owned and operated The Book Rack for 15 years in North Little Rock, until his retirement.
He is preceded in death by his parents Juddie L. & Otis Linden Rainwater, brother J. Linden Rainwater and son-in-law Joseph Jenkins.
Survivors include his wife Gene Weeks Rainwater; daughters Gayle Jackson (Cliff) of Hot Springs, AR. Suzanne Jenkins of Houston, Texas; granddaughters Jennifer Crain (Scott), Lindsey Romeo (Vincent), Heather Letterman (Jason), and Ashley Jackson and 6 great-grandchildren and sister Rose Couey Patton.
The family would like to thank Dr. Rollefson of the Arkansas Heart Clinic, and the staff of Southern Trace Rehab Center for the care of our loved one.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, October 24, 2014 at Roselawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Little Rock.
