Julian Bailey

Julian Bailey, 77, of Cabot, Arkansas went home to be with the Lord, August 23, 2018. He was born December 2, 1940 in Woodruff County, Arkansas to Charles and Irene Bailey.

He held various jobs throughout his lifetime from picking cotton as a young man to driving and painting tractor trailer trucks, finally retiring from Regal Manufacturing in Jacksonville in 2006.

After retirement, he enjoyed fishing with his sons and granddaughter. Julian had a green thumb and loved to raise vegetable gardens. He was a wonderful cook, and enjoyed family cookouts. Julian was a devoted dad, grandfather and great-grandfather and cherished every moment he spent with his family. Forever treasured will be the time spent with Abigail and Rayven.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his daughter Tonya Roberts, infant sister Charloette and niece Chandra Green.

He is survived by his children, Ricky, Mike, Sherrie aned Brittany; grandchildren Heather, Ashley, Danielle, Kyle, Morgan, Haley and Gavin; thirteen great-grandchildren; sisters Paulette and Shirley; brother Bart; and numerous nephews, nieces, family and friends.

Family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday at Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe. Funeral will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 25, 2018, at Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home, with burial in Mt. Carmel Cemetery. Arrangements by Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe. www.smithfamilycares.com
