Julia Bunten

Julia Baskins Bunten passed away Sunday, June 14, 2015 at the age of 54. A funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday, June 19, 2015 at Christian Life Center in Little Rock, with burial to follow at Elmwood Cemetery in Morrilton. Julia or Julie as she liked to be called was born September 12, 1960 the youngest daughter of the late William Earl Baskins, Jr. and Winifred MacElree Baskins in Waukegan, Illinois. She graduated from Central High School in Little Rock in 1979 where she loved to sing and taught herself to play the guitar. Anyone that knew her knew that her loves included the Lord, her family and church, her cats and singing.

She is survived by her husband Edwin "Eddie" Bunten, Jr. of Little Rock, Ar. As well as her sister Winifred Nowlin of Little Rock, Ar. Her sister Doretta Downs, of West Helena, Ar., her brother Bruce Baskins of Little Rock, Ar., and her sister Barbara Mateus of Olivehurst, Ca. In addition she is survived by 20 nieces and nephews and 14 great nieces and nephews.
