Judy Lynne Newberry

Judy Lynne Newberry, 70, of Scott, Arkansas passed away January 6, 2023. She was born January 22, 1952 in Little Rock, Arkansas to the late Don and Maudie Cato. She is preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Donnie, Cato and Jodie Cato.

Judy is survived by her husband of 49 wonderful years, Darrell Newberry; children, Gary Newberry (Dawn) and Laura Newberry; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; nephews, nieces and a host of family and friends.

Judy loved gardening, landscaping and built a landscaping business with Darrell. She owned Chenal Valley Landscaping for 30 years. In her spare time she enjoyed cooking, canning, shopping and was an avid bargain hunter. She also enjoyed hunting and fishing with Darrell. She loved her church and her church family. The twinkles in her eyes were Reese and Micah Newberry. Darrell and Judy traveled the world to Israel, Germany, Egypt and went on many cruises together

Visitation will be from 10:00AM-11:00AM Wednesday, January 18, 2023 at First Pentecostal Church of North Little Rock (1401 Calvary Road) with funeral service following at 11:00AM. Burial will be at 1:00PM at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery.
