Judith Anne Jones Hopper of Little Rock went home to be with the Lord on July 25, 2009, after an extended illness. Her husband, Charles David Hopper, and her parents, Wilma Meeks Jones and James Samuel Jones preceded her in death.
She leaves behind her cherished memory to her son Henry David Hopper of Hot Springs, AR; her brother-in-law, Gordon Craigh Hopper, and wife Shirley of Luling, LA; sister-in-law, Sally Ann Farris, and husband Curt of Kenner, LA; nieces and nephews Alexis Anne Mann of West Monroe, LA; Lane Elise Hopper of Marrero LA; Matthew David Farris and Meredith Ashley Farris both of Kenner, LA.
Judith was a 1963 graduate of Arkadelphia High School. She went on to earn a Business Degree from Henderson State College. Throughout life Judith was known for her quick wit, kindness, compassion and charity. Her support Children's Hospital in Little Rock will be remembered for years to come and will be seen in the lives of the children she helped. She was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church of Little Rock.
The family would like to thank Lakewood Nursing and Rehabilitation in North Little Rock for the excellent care they provided Judith. Special thanks go to Ken Rowland and Lila Fulmer for the countless hours they spent assuring Judith's every need was met.
Funeral services will be 2 PM Monday, July 27, 2009 at Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home in Arkadelphia with Rev. David Wilson officiating. Visitation is from 1 PM till service time at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Antoine Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Children's Hospital or the Arkansas Alzheimer's Association.
