Judy K. Hibbs, age 78, of Hot Springs, entered the gates of heaven to be with her Lord on July 26, 2024. Born in Hot Springs to the late Bob and Lois Rankin, on February 13, 1946.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Bob and Lois Rankin; one sister, Georga Wooten; one great-granddaughter, Nevaeh Hames, and her ex husband, Don W. Hames Sr., the father of her children.
She was survived by her husband, Chris D. Hibbs; three sons, Don W. Hames Jr., Brandon K. Hames, and Bob R. Hames; one daughter, Holly B. Taylor (Terry); two step sons, Charlie Thomason, and Michael Hibbs; two daughters, Tina Hibbs (Dan), and Crystal Hibbs; spiritual daughters, Missy Reed, and Angel Campbell; as well as one spiritual son, Luther Thompson; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, neices, nephews, and extended family members.
She was loved by all who knew her. She was loved by all who knew her. She was a member of Ark of Praise church where she faithfully attended. She loved her pastor Gary Jennings and his wife Danette Jennings, She will be missed by all.
Services to honor the life of Judy will be held on Friday, August 2, 2024, at 10:00 am. The services will be held at the Ark of Praise church in Hot Springs. Visitation will be Thursday, August 1st, from 6:00 - 8:00 pm in the Smith Family Funeral Home Chapel.
Pallbearers will be Markus Boyer, Jason Lyon, James Brown, John Brown, Andrew Hames, and Luther Thompson.
Honorary pallbearers will be Fathers House Men, Ethan Jennings, Rico Harris, and Dr. Olive.
