Judith Sue Barnes

Judith Sue Barnes, age 79, of Center Ridge, Arkansas passed away on Tuesday, October 17, 2023. She was born on December 11,1943 in Morrilton, Arkansas to the late Hershel T. Bryant and the late Anna Lorene Bryant. She retired from Levi Strauss and was a faithful member of the Grandview Church of Christ.
She is survived by her children Tina Barnes May, Darlene Barnes Gales, Elane Barnes, and Calvin (Trish) Barnes of Center Ridge. She has thirteen grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren, siblings are Hershel Bryant Jr, Lynn Bryant, Karen Paladino of Center Ridge and Patricia Ferricher of Searcy. She is preceded in death by Cecil C Barnes Jr, her loving husband of 58 years, a daughter, Tammy Marie Barnes, a grandson, Marcus Allen Shipp, and a son-in-law, Danny Lee Gales.
Sue loved to travel. She loved to travel with Cecil, whom she has missed so much for the last few years. She always put others needs and wants before her own. She loved her kids, grandkids, and her little dogs with all her heart. When she was able, she loved to cook, she loved her church and church family.
Visitation for family and friends will be held Monday October 23, 2023 at 11am at the Grandview Church of Christ. Funeral service will follow at 12:00, burial will be at Kilgore Cemetery.
