Dr. Judith Margaret Sweetbaum, 64 of Miami, Florida, passed away on Thursday, February 5, 2009 at University of Arkansas for Medical Science Center. She was born on March 21, 1944 in Queensland, Australia. She was the daughter of John and Margaret Hunt.
Judith was a Pediatrician, who was a sole practitioner. She enjoyed drawing and was an amateur horticulturist, who was of the Buddhist faith, and was an active member of the Rejoice Program in Thailand, an organization helping children living with AIDS.
Judith is preceded in death by her parents, and brother John Hunt.
Survivors include her husband of over forty years Donald Sweetbaum of Miami,FL; a daughter Chana Sweetbaum of New York, NY; a son Ari Sweetbaum of Miami,FL; a sister Joanie Wegner of Australia; a sister in law Trish Cattermole, a niece Tanya Hunt, and a nephew James Wegner.
A Memorial Service will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 15, 2009 at Wat Buddharangsi at 15200 SW 240th Street in Holmstead, Florida.
