Judith Newman

Judith Margaret Rhodes Newman age 69, of Arkadelphia died Tuesday, July 3, 2007 in Little Rock. She was born November 30, 1937 in Donaldson, AR., the daughter of Eules Harry "Dude" and Ruby Lee Fuller Rhodes. Mrs. Newman was a Licensed Social worker and Juvenile Probation Officer for Clark and Pike County and a member of Harmony Primitive Baptist Church of Donaldson.

Survivors include her husband, Buford Newman; three daughters, Melanie Roberts, Betsy Smith and Tara Beaver all of Arkadelphia; two sisters, Norma Phelan of Donaldson; Maureen McDade of Arkadelphia; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 Am Friday, July 6, 2007 at Harmony Primitive Baptist Church in Donaldson with Elder Neil Phelan Jr. officiating. Interment will be in Ouachita Cemetery by Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home of Arkadelphia. Visitation will be at 6-8 PM Thursday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the memorial fund of Harmony Primitive Baptist Church.
