Judith Albertine Adkison, 82, died November 12, 2021 after a long illness. She was born on April 16, 1939 to Stanley A. and Elizabeth K. Mills in Niagara Falls, New York. Judith graduated from Niagara University and later moved to Boston, Massachusetts. She worked there for several years and became interested in the early development of computers.
After moving to West Virginia to be near her parents, she met and married LeRoy Adkison and both of them began working on main frame computers. They later moved to North Carolina where they were very active in raising Sheltie dogs and frequently traveled to dog shows in that area. After the death of her husband and following her retirement, she moved to Little Rock to be near her mother and sister.
She is survived by her sister, Roberta Monson (Thomas) and a stepdaughter, Donna Bryan of South Carolina. Graveside services will be held at Arkansas Memorial Gardens Cemetery in North Little Rock.
