Juanita (Nita) Smith, 80, of Bauxite passed away Tuesday, February 10, 2015. She was born September 10, 1934 in Hot Springs, to the late Lester and Ada Barnett.
Nita was a beloved member of her community and is best remembered for her beautiful smile, infectious laugh, and the love she had for her family. She had a great love of camping, fishing, and spending time with friends and family on any occasion.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Cleve Smith; her parents, Lester and Ada Barnett; and her sister, Jeraldine Barnett.
Survivors include her daughters, Vicki Wright (Ronnie), Paula Morehead (Jeff) and Bill Drennan Jr. (Melissa); her sisters, Margie Ann Chastain, Marie Browning; her brother, Ray Barnett; her seven grandchildren, Casey Wright, Jamey Burton, Chelsea Morehead, MaKensi Drennan, Cade Drennan, Reece Weatherton, Whit Weatherton; four great grandchildren, Dylan Burton, Dakota Burton, Kelsey Wright, Jessika Bannon.
Visitation will be held, Friday, February 13th, 10:00 A.M. - 11:30 A.M. at Smith - Benton Funeral Home, 322 N. Market St., Benton, AR 72015. Chapel service, officiated by Rev. John Bagby and Mr. Bill Drennan, will follow visitation at Noon at Smith - Benton Funeral Home. Burial to follow at Ten Mile Cemetery, Lonsdale.
Those serving as pallbearers are Ronnie Wright, Jeff Morehead, Jamey Burton, Casey Wright, Steve Browning, Trent Tompkins and David Wright.
