Juanita Moreno

Juanita DeLeon Moreno – August 27, 1948 – February 1, 2025

Juanita passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family. We will always remember her gracious smile, laughter, her love of baking persimmon cookies and crocheting blankets.

Juanita raised three children and while raising her children, she enjoyed taking part in all her children’s sporting events. She was also known as “Team Mom”, and she enjoyed traveling.

She is survived by her two sisters, Emma Villarreal and Mary Baiza; her children Deanna (Fred) Pendergraft, Ruben (Brinda) Perez and Adrianna Moreno; five grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren as well as many other loving family members (nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles).

Juanita was preceded in death by her parents, Isidoro and Evangelina DeLeon.

As we remember Juanita, we celebrate a life well-lived, a love well-shared, and a legacy that will continue to inspire generations to come.

Juanita DeLeon Moreno, a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, loyal friend, and a gracious soul, will live in our hearts, a beacon of love and light that will guide us through the years to come.

A Visitation will be held Thursday, February 6th from 6:00-8:00 p.m. in the Chapel at Smith Westbrook Funeral Home, 404 W Dewitt Henry, Beebe, Arkansas.
