Juanita Holloway

Juanita Blazer Holloway, 96, of North Little Rock passed away Saturday, February 22, 2020. She was born in Jacksonville, Arkansas to Roy and Eleanor Blazer. Juanita graduated from North Little Rock High School in 1941 and enjoyed getting together with her classmate for years.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 64 years, Perry B. Holloway, Sr.; and her sister, Elizabeth “Liz” Rea. She is survived by her two sons, Perry “Bud” Holloway, Jr. of North Little Rock and Garry Holloway (Misty) of Saratoga, California; grandchildren, John Holloway (Kate), of San Francisco, California and Cheryl Holloway (Adam), of Brooklyn, New York; great-grandchild, Dune Bazadona of Brooklyn, New York; nephew Larry Rea (Miriam) of Germantown, Tennessee, and other special nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank all of the wonderful residents at the Lakewood House for their kindness and their caring. She was there for over 17 years and then moved to Fox Ridge and loved it there also.

A visitation will be from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m., Saturday, February 29, 2020, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 p.m., at Smith – North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main Street. A private burial will be held at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery.
