Juanita B. Curtis, 89 of Perryville, widow of Pete Curtis went to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 25, 2008. She was a lifelong member of Calvary Church of the Nazarene and faithfully attended until she became too sick. She loved her family and the Lord with all her heart. She was an inspiration to everyone she met. She will be really missed by her family and friends, but we know that she will be happily reunited with the love of her life, Pete Curtis.
Juanita was preceded in death by her parents William H. and Gladys Thomas. Her husband Pete Curtis. Her brothers Vance, Bill, and Dale; and sisters Sibyl Mann, Joyce Gray, Doris Linz, and Gayle Pounders. She is survived by two sons Ronnie Curtis and wife Charlotte and David Curtis and his wife Vivien, all of Ferndale. Two brothers Robert Thomas and his wife Guyva and Richard Thomas. Five grandsons Tony, Dan, Stan, Ronnie II, Pete and Donnie Curtis and one grandaughter Sharon Minix Curtis of Florida and 11 remarkable great-grandchildren. We will miss her deeply but rejoice in knowing she is surrounded by the Lord and all of the family members who preceded her in death.
