Joycelyn Holcomb
Joycelyn "Peggy" Holcomb, 91, of Little Rock, passed away April 27, 2018. She was born in New Orleans, Louisiana to Thomas and Alberta St. Julien Arculeer and was of the Catholic faith.
Preceded in death by her parents, her husbands, Raymond Ortega Sr. Antoine Albert Mercier and Haskell J. Holcomb, son-in-law, Thomas Allen and sister, Val Langford. She is survived by her children, Michael Ortega (Karen) of Slidell, Louisiana, Dianne Allen-Pierce (Donald) of Covington, Louisiana and Raymond Ortega (Judy) of Little Rock; grandchildren, Beth Brewer (Bryce), Robert Ortega (Katie), Michael Ortega (Melissa), Jennifer Hoffman (Eric), Nicholas Budd (Jennifer) and Edward Budd; and nine great-grandchildren.
The Rosary will be Monday, April 30 at 6:00 p.m. at Christ the King Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Msgr. Francis I. Malone at the church on Tuesday, May 1 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Monsignor Hebert Endowment Fund for Christ the King School.
