Joyce Walker

Joyce Walker, age 80, of Bonnerdale, passed away Monday, March 27, 2023.

She was born on April 23, 1942, in St. Louis, Missouri, the daughter of Elmer Aubuchon and Emma Tegtmeyer Aubuchon.  On July 20, 1985, she married James Thomas “Tommy” Walker.  She was preceded in death by her parents; and one son, Paul Nogle.

Joyce was a teacher's aide and bus driver for 26 years for the handicap children in the Hot Springs public schools.  She enjoyed working with and driving the children and getting to know their families.  She will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her. 

She is survived by her loving husband of 37 years, Tommy Walker of Bonnerdale; two sons, Mark Weston and John Weston; two daughters, Laquita Cobb and Lois Krohne, all of Missouri; extended family members and a host of wonderful friends.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00AM, Friday, March 31, 2023, with Bro. Randy Kincannon officiating in the Smith Family Funeral Home Chapel, Hot Springs.

Interment will be in the Oma Cemetery.

Visitation will be 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Thursday, March 30, 2023, at the funeral home.

Pallbearers are Jerry Bolton, Thomas Jones, Chris Weatherford, Devin Bray, Jared Summerville, and Gary Bray.
