Joyce Violet (Payne) Venable, 82, of Malvern, Arkansas passed away February 22, 2022. She was born June 2, 1939 in Morganton, Arkansas to the late Edgar and Maggie (Granger) Payne.
Joyce retired after working many years as a waitress. Since retirement, she enjoyed being a housewife. Joyce adored her family. She had a heart as big as Texas and loved everyone. She made a friend out of everyone she met, she never met a stranger. Joyce raised five boys-each one year apart. This makes her tougher than Super Woman! Joyce enjoyed writing poetry and wrote everyone in her church a personal poem that touched their heart. She also enjoyed cooking, gardening, and tending to her strawberry patch. Joyce served the Lord and her family with her whole heart and shared her love with all who knew her.
Preceding Joyce in death are her parents, Edgar Winston Payne and Maggie Payne; son, William Robinson; eight sisters: Louella Yeager, Evalou Payne, Marvelle Payne, Barbara Crull, Oneata Bird, Daisy Nelson, Peggy Watkins, and Norma Payne; and six brothers: James Payne, Winston Payne, Earl Payne, Thomas Payne, Charles Payne, and Royce Payne.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving husband, Willis “Bill” Venable; four sons: Edgar James “Jim” Robinson and wife Courtney of Malvern, Arkansas, Donald Robinson and wife Vanessa of Malvern, Tommy Robinson and wife Judy of Benton, and Carlton “Corky” Robinson and partner Tamie of Malvern; daughter, Tina Roberson and husband Stan of Yorktown, Virgina; three sisters: Estell Neighbours of Bee Branch, Arkansas, Katherine Grigg of Rogers, Arkansas, and Judy Simmons of Morrilton, Arkansas; 12 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, family members and friends who love Joyce and will miss her always.
