Joyce Ray Shaw

Joyce Ray Shaw passed peacefully from the arms of her loving family to the loving arms of her Lord on Wednesday, February 16, 2022. Her final days were spent surrounded by family. She was a member of Crystal Hill Assembly of God.  She spent her life devoted to her family and serving the church community.  She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Joyce is survived by her son, David Shaw (Linda); daughter, Brenda Smith (Dean); son, Paul Shaw (Greg Reed); sister, Dorothy Campbell; granddaughters, Nicole Ludwig (Kale) and Brittany Smith; great-granddaughter, Winn Ludwig; great-grandson, Louis Ludwig; and a host of other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jesse Wilkes and Bessie Carmichael; husband, Jeff Shaw; and brother, Bobby Wilkes.

Her family would like to thank everyone at Baptist Hospice and Hospice Home Care for the care and attention she received in her final days.

Services will be Saturday, February 19 at 2:00 p.m., preceded by visitation beginning at 1:00, at Smith Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct., Little Rock, (501)224-2200. Interment will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Cabot.  Joyce’s online guestbook may be signed at www.smithfamilycares.com.
