Joyce Izatt

Joyce Roussa-Shackelford-Izatt, age 89, passed away December 24, 2013. Joyce was married to the love of her life, Jack Edward Izatt for 65 years. Joyce was an avid bridge and golf player. Joyce graduated from the University of Arkansas and held a degree in Social Work. She worked as a social worker in both Illinois and Arkansas. Joyce was one of the first Adoption Specialist in the state of Arkansas. She is survived by her husband, Jack of Vilonia, Arkansas; daughter, Kathy Holladay of Sherwood, Arkansas; son-in-law, Bob Holladay; granddaughters, Rachel Holladay-Coffman and Karrie Ellen Holladay-Jarrett; great-grandchildren; Ryleigh Coffman, Greta Coffman, Edyn Coffman, Madelin Jarrett, and Brody Jarrett; and cousin Richard Flora of Dallas, Texas. Joyce was a resident of Southridge Village in Heber Springs, Arkansas. A memorial service will be held January 5, 2014, at the Huson Funeral Home in Sherwood, Arkansas, at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Pulaski County Humane Society in her name. online obituary at www.husonfuneralhome.com .
