Joyce Louise Darter Furr, 78, of Conway, passed away Sunday, March 20, 2011. She was born April 29, 1932 in Atkins, Arkansas to the late Sam and Tessie Lee Causey Pratt. She was a member of the Church of Christ.
She is survived by her husband of 23 years, William S. Furr; son, James Ricky Darter (Sue) of Conway; daughter, Pamela Joyce Drotar (John) of Slovak, Arkansas; two brothers, Jim Pratt of Conway, Sammy Pratt of Phoenix, Arizona; aunt, Ruth Welcher of Conway; two step-sons, David "Quietwind" Furr of Hot Springs, John Scott Furr (Tammie) of Mountain Pine; two step-daughters, Pamela Kay Gonzales (Arthur) of Hot Springs, Trudy Carol Buttrum of Mountain Pine; thirteen grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 27 years, J. C. Darter and son, Randy Dale Darter.
Memorials may be made to Arkansas Children's Hospital, P.O. Box 2222, Little Rock, Arkansas 72203.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday at North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Little Rock National Cemetery.
