Joyce J. Dorsey, age 83 of Sherwood, passed away May 31, 2015 at Baptist Hospital in North Little Rock. She was born on July 6, 1931 in McKinney, TX and she was the daughter of Elmer and Ona Agan.
Joyce was an ordained minister for 54 years. She was a member of First Assembly of God in North Little Rock, AR and enjoyed puzzles, reading, volunteering at church and the hospital & telling people about the Lord
She is preceded in death by her father, mother, sister - Ruth, and 3 grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband Robert Dorsey, a sister Doris Gilbert, Daughter Verna Davis & her husband Barry Davis, daughter Joy Haynes & her husband Bill Haynes, son Kane Dorsey & his wife Kristy Dorsey, and grandsons Weston and Garrett Dorsey.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., on Wednesday, June 3, 2015 at First Assembly of God in North Little Rock. Burial will follow at Rest Hills Cemetery in North Little Rock.
Visitation will be Tuesday, June 2, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at First Assembly of God in North Little Rock, AR.
