Joyce Copeland

Joyce “Gran Gran” Copeland, of Sherwood, passed away January 25th, 2025, surrounded by her family and friends.

 Gran Gran loved to hype up the grandkids on sugar and send them back across the field, for Paige and Nick to deal with. She was an avid animal lover, which enjoyed watching murder shows on TV, or fishing with Sissy.

 Joyce was the toughest person many of us ever knew, other than Edna “Mean Jean” Turner, who proceeded her in death, and we are quite sure they are bickering at the pearly gates this very moment. She is survived by her favorite animals Worsie the wiener dog, cats, Sassy, Lucky Blue, and Tripod Tom. Horses Sally and Honey Pie, along with the partner who stuck by her side during her battle with cancer, Kenny Thomas. Her Children, Lee (Cavin) Peeler, Paige (Nick) Howard, Dustin (Cara) Copeland, Tamara (Bill) Blanchard and her grandchildren, Maelee, Luke, Kaiden, Noah, Cash, Macie, Parker, Mason, McKenzie, Morgan, Elliot (Great granddaughter. Dad, John (Patti) DAngelo, brothers, Bobby(Kristie) and Bubba (Sam), sister Terri.

 Joyce only liked 2 plants, those being the tobacco and coffee plants, so unless you can find one of these, please consider a donation to your favorite charity in her honor, and if you know Joyce, she would prefer it was animal related.

 Visitation will be at 5pm on Friday, January 31, 2025, followed by a celebration of life at 6pm at Smiths Family Funeral Home, North Little Rock
