Joy touched the life of many in his short time on Earth. This included his twelve best friends at Little Rock West High School. In his class he was referred to as Joy to the World and Joy bird. He made his friends laugh throughout the day with his unique sense of humor and his comical laugh. He had a beautiful smile and caring heart.
Joy was deeply loved by his parents. He spoke fondly of his mother, and his connection with his father was a bond like no other. They were inseparable. Together they encouraged each other to grow and conquer challenges. They enjoyed working out and going to the movies together. He showed his love for his family by talking about them and sharing family photos with his classmates.
Joy brought out the best in all of us with his unconditional love. He taught us all what perseverance and the love of a team can accomplish. Although our time together was brief, precious memories and the legacy he leaves with us will not be forgotten.
In lieu of flowers, your presence itself would be a blessing in honor of Joy.
