Joshua James Meredith

Joshua James Meredith, affectionately known as "Jay-Bo," was born on February 13, 1993, in Clarksville, Arkansas. He departed this life on March 31, 2025. A certified welder by training, Joshua was a true free spirit whose passions led him to embrace the fast-paced environment of the food industry, where he worked at numerous restaurants throughout his career.

Joshua's personality was defined by his love for the outdoors; he preferred the tranquility of nature over the confines of indoor spaces. His adventurous spirit was complemented by his talents in playing the guitar and his dedication to the martial arts, particularly karate, which he had learned from his father. These interests painted a picture of a man deeply engaged with both his physical and creative sides.

Those who were close to Joshua counted themselves privileged to be the recipients of his generous heart and unwavering support. His willingness to help his loved ones in any way he could was a hallmark of his character, reflecting the depth of his compassion and relationships.

Joshua is survived by his father, James Meredith; his siblings, Kelly Christian, Charlie Watson, Jessica (Kayla) Watson and their children, Tyler (Loni) Meredith; and grandmother, Faye Meredith; as well as his nieces and nephews—Kelsey Wicker, Christian Wicker, Kayla Gilbert, Kristen Meredith, Caden Meredith, and Emma Meredith. He leaves behind many close family members and friends who will miss him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Vicki Meredith, and his grandfather, Jake Meredith. The memories and legacy he created will remain alive in the hearts of those who cherished him. Joshua James Meredith will be remembered not just for his eclectic interests and skills but also for the kindness and joy he brought to those around him.

In true Joshua Fashion, the family will hold a private cook out in honor of Joshua at a later date.
