Joshua Harris

Joshua Layne Parris, 16, of Hot Springs, Arkansas went to be with the Lord June 26, 2020.  He was born March 16, 2004 in North Little Rock, to Brian and Kara Parris.

Josh loved being outdoors.  He was an avid fisherman and hunter.  Josh attended Fountain Lake High School, where he was a member of the Honor Society and a member of the football team.  Josh enjoyed lifting weights and flexing his muscles.  He had a Christian heart, was always helping others, and was the very best big brother and protector.

Josh is preceded in death by his great grandparents Dessie Hart of Carlisle, and Howard and Anne Parris of Lonoke.

He leaves to cherish his memory his parents and three little sisters, Jessica, Jennifer and Jaymie of Hot Springs; grandparents Cynthia Lovingier and Billy of El Paso, Darrell Parris and Cindy of Lonoke; great grandfather Bobby Hart of Carlisle; and many aunts, uncles, family and friends.

Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, July 2, 2020, at Roberson Memorial Baptist Church, 3084 Hwy. 15 N., Lonoke, AR  72086.  Funeral will follow at 2:00 p.m. State of AR COVID-19 directives will be followed; including social distancing.
