Joseph Wood

Joseph Allen Wood, 29 of Roland, Arkansas, died from a car crash on Thursday, August 13, 2009. He was born June 5, 1980 in Little Rock, Arkansas, the son of James and June Wood. He was a 1998 graduate of Central High School and worked in the Little Rock River Market at Sony Williams Steak Room. Joe was passionate about music and played guitar in numerous bands over the years.
He is survived by his parents, James D. and June M. Wood of Roland; his four brothers, Jim W. Wood (Marilyn) of Perryville, John W. Wood (Monika) , Jerry D. Wood, and Jason E. Wood all of Roland; his nieces Jordan, Jaimie, and Josette Wood all of Roland and Carrie Wood of Little Rock; and his ex-wife April Perry of Little Rock.
A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held from Noon until 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 15, 2009 at Huson Funeral Home Chapel on 6400 Mabelvale Pike, in Little Rock (one block west of 65th and South University).
