Joseph ?Joe? Lee Wilkiewicz, 84, of North Little Rock departed from this life, Monday, April 27, 2009. He was a World War II U.S. Navy veteran, retired from American Sterilizer Company, and an avid hunter and fisherman. He was of the Baptist faith and a Mason in Mt. Sinai Masonic Lodge 749 of North Little Rock.
He is survived by three daughters, Barbara (Robert) Thompson, Martha (Steve) Lane, all of North Little Rock and Norma (Steve) Hoffmann, of Little Rock; seven grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mildred Floy, of North Little Rock. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 49 years, Bess Haynie Wilkiewicz; his parents, Michael John and Dolly Wilkiewicz; and a brother, Robert Wilkiewicz.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 A.M., Thursday at North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Edgewood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8:30 P.M., Wednesday at North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main St. 758-1170. Online obituary and guest register at www.nlrfh.com.
